The Victory Garden is a cooperative partnership designed to strengthen the local community by providing fresh produce as well as education in nutrition, environmental sustainability and training in micro-enterprise.
Those impacted include community members living in poverty, adolescents aging out foster care, seniors, veterans and people with disabilities.
Poverty levels in Lake County range from 17% to 37%. The need in the over 65 population continues to grow at an alarming rate.
These poverty levels are spread amongst the elderly, disabled and families of all ages.

Empower School & Farm
Empower School & Farm is a program of Commission Beyond Borders, Inc. a 501(c)(3). It is located in Umatilla, Fl, and supports gardeners as they work to provide locally grown, pesticide-free produce in backyard and community garden spaces throughout Lake County and across the world.
Lake Cares, a 501(c)(3), is a need based organization with a goal to feed the body, educate the mind and lift the spirit of all individuals. It currently distributes food in the Golden Triangle area and throughout Lake County.
Green Sprouts was established to assist local businesses, law firms and not for profit to build a strong business or legal strategy, increase profitability and be a strong member of the local economy.
